The 23rd March Parade 2025 at Cadet College Jhelum was a magnificent and memorable occasion, celebrating national pride, discipline, and cadet excellence. The event began with a warm welcome extended to the respected parents and guests, who gathered to witness this grand celebration.
The proceedings commenced with the soulful recitation of the Holy Quran, creating a spiritual and reverent atmosphere. This was followed by a dynamic PT show that demonstrated the physical fitness, coordination, and training of the cadets — a true reflection of the college’s commitment to holistic development.
The next segment honored the academic achievers of the year. Shields were presented to cadets who had secured top positions in their respective classes:
- Abdul Hadi (Kit No. 2762) – 1st in 7th (Babar House)
- Hanzalah Gulzar (Kit No. 2498) – 1st in 8th (Tipu House)
- Muaz Asif (Kit No. 2546) – 1st in 9th (Iqbal House)
- Hanzalah Amjad (Kit No. 2166) – 1st in 10th (Iqbal House)
- Huzaifa Zaman (Kit No. 1888) – 1st in 11th (Jinnah House)
Special college-wide awards were also announced to recognize outstanding cadets:
- Ahmad Hassan (Kit No. 2798) – Best All-Rounder (Jinnah House)
- Huzaifa Zaman (Kit No. 1888) – Best in Academics (Jinnah House)
- Ahmad Alam (Kit No. 2910) – Best Sportsman (Tipu House)
Following this, the college choir, draped in green scarves symbolizing national unity, performed a series of soulful national songs that deeply moved the audience and added a patriotic spirit to the event.
The most awaited part of the ceremony, the grand parade, then commenced. The parade was a breathtaking display of discipline, synchronization, and training. The guests were visibly impressed and deeply moved by the cadets’ performance, which truly reflected the ethos of Cadet College Jhelum.
