Educational Trip to Mangla Dam
Dates: 15-16th November 2025
Cadet College Jhelum organized an educational and recreational trip to Mangla Dam on 15–16 November 2025, providing cadets with a valuable opportunity to combine learning with exploration and enjoyment.
During the visit, cadets learned about the historical background, engineering significance, and operational importance of Mangla Dam as one of Pakistan’s major water reservoirs and hydroelectric power projects. The trip enhanced their understanding of water resource management, power generation, and the role of large-scale infrastructure in national development.
Alongside the educational component, cadets enjoyed scenic sightseeing, group activities, and a picnic, allowing them to relax and strengthen bonds with their peers. The trip offered a refreshing break from routine, promoting teamwork, discipline, and appreciation of nature.
The Mangla Dam trip proved to be a memorable and enriching experience, reinforcing the college’s commitment to providing balanced exposure through academic, co-curricular, and experiential learning opportunities.
