General Criteria for CR Selection (7th–12th classes)

Academic Performance

  • Should have consistently good results.
  • Not necessarily a topper, but must be above-average so he can set an example.

Discipline Record

  • No major disciplinary issues or punishments.

  • Must follow college rules strictly.

  • Should show punctuality in classes, assemblies, and parades.

  • Must be in proper attire at all times.

Leadership Qualities

  • Confidence in speaking (in class, assembly, and with teachers).

  • Ability to manage classmates and maintain decorum.

    Respected by peers.

Communication Skills

  • Should be able to represent the class’s problems and convey them to teachers/administration.

  • Should also communicate instructions from staff to students clearly.

Sense of Responsibility

  • Willing to take accountability for class discipline in the absence of the teacher.

  • Keeps track of attendance, assignments, and notices.

Maturity & Attitude

  • Polite, cooperative, and approachable.

  • Not arrogant or biased toward friends.

  • Shows maturity in handling conflicts among classmates.

Physical Fitness & Personality (esp. 9th–12th)

  • Since Cadet College also focuses on grooming for military standards, a CR is often expected to have a decent personality, grooming, and fitness.
